i wish the gulf wasn't so inviting for these storms! we've been lucky so far (thank goodness!) but it looks like Ike is now predicted to turn up into the gulf. That's never good because once it's in, there's no way out-- except by hitting land. And any of the surrounding states are vulnerable. Is it just me or have we had way too many tropical storms for EARLY SEPTEMBER! As always, we have our water, canned goods, flash lights, etc. But make no mistake-- if this guy shows up, we'll be heading north way before he arrives.
Anyone want to take in a family of four (and two kitties)?? --actually five, because I will drag Heidi & Sydney (her fur kid) with me!

You know family and anilmals are always welcome up here in Maine :)
You can always leave the furry friends in Ohio...I'll treat them like family...even sign their names to the cards. :)
that was below the belt Christy (with a "Ch"). At least I don't lock them in the basement. Well, I guess I couldn't considering we don't have basements here in the sunshine state.
He had his own apartment complete with TV on at all times, couch, tree, frig, etc..... :)
Many boxes to crawl in, too!
whatever you say...
