I am ashamed to be a Floridian.
85% of the votes are in.
62% voted yes saying marriage should only be between a man and woman.
38% voted no.
Civil marriage has nothing to do with religion. It has everything to do with equality - equal rights, privileges and protections.
Shame on you Florida!

yes. proud to be a blue state (even if that took all night to call), but discrimination like this is so outdated and sad. I see Noah discriminated against because of his disability and any votes for discrimination (especially when we have a chance to do the right thing) is so, so, so wrong. It's just ignorant. grrr.
