pancakes.

I put it off long enough. My doc gave me a script for a mammogram awhile back and I've been sort of putting it off. I wonder why. The thought of putting the ta-tas on a cold, tall table to only meet the doom of the lowering "smoosh bar" was so tempting. But I finally just decided to make the appointment today. How frustrating to find out there was a cancellation and they could see me TODAY. I thought about turning them down, but the fact remains, that noah was home from school and Joe and my mother in-law were both here to help with the kids. So I apprehensively agreed to it. And yes my friends, it was all that I thought it would be and more. Never in my life did I think I would see that happen to a part of my body. Flatter than flat. Pancake flat. As my palms were sweating, I could not watch. And then it was over. And next up was the pancake, I mean breast, ultrasound. That was just as much fun. Picture the ultrasound you get on your belly when pregnant, but all over your chest. Very cold, because god forbid they keep it warm like some of the Ob/Gyn nurses that give a crap that you don't freeze to death when you're preggers. And the pressure. You would think they were trying to see something on your back by going through your front. OWWWWWWW. And then it was over (thank god). And the doctor came in and said something about dialated ducts. Whatever that means. I will follow up with my doc and hope for no more tests.

Save the ta-tas!!
